A residential lightning protection system is designed to safeguard your home and family from the dangers of lightning strikes.

It typically consists of air terminals (lightning rods), conductors, ground rods, and surge protection devices.

The system works by providing a direct path for lightning to follow, safely channeling the electrical energy into the ground, away from your home.

This helps prevent fire hazards, structural damage, and electrical surges that can harm your electronic devices.

Semi- Concealed Systems

Semi-Concealed: Perfect for homes with attic access, this option hides most rooftop components, offering a cleaner look.

Roof-level components are concealed within the attic, with downleads exiting discreetly through the soffit or via mechanical wall assemblies.

They are then carefully routed to remain as inconspicuous as possible. This is our second most common choice.

While it costs more than exposed systems, many homeowners find it worth the investment.

Concealed Systems

Concealed: Ideal for new constructions, the concealed system only shows the air terminals, keeping the rest of the system hidden.

While it is possible to achieve a fully concealed system on existing homes, it requires more extensive interior work and repairs, making it a rare choice for retrofit installations.

Exposed Systems

The exposed system offers a cost-effective solution, designed to blend seamlessly into your home’s aesthetic by following ridges, lines, and architectural features.

Easily accessible for inspection and maintenance, it is a practical choice for many homeowners and our most popular option.

The components initially have a shine but quickly darken to integrate subtly with your home.

Surge Suppresion

No lightning protection system is complete without proper surge suppression.

While lightning rods shield your home from the physical damage of a direct strike, surge protectors safeguard your electrical appliances and systems from surges that enter through your power lines.

We offer several tiers of surge suppression to protect your electrical, satellite, internet, and other critical home systems.

Our bonding and grounding process ensures the safety and effectiveness of your lightning protection system.

Ground rods are driven 10 feet into the ground, with at least 1 foot concealed below grade.

Utilities such as water, gas, and electric lines are equalized to ensure potential differences are minimized.

We test all ground rods to ensure proper low resistance, guaranteeing a reliable and efficient grounding system.
